Note from the NSFPL Commissioner:

Dear Fastpitch Coaches,

I am excited to announce that registration for the 2022 NSFPL fastpitch summer season is now open. New for 2022 is that we are expanding the league to 16U (if we can get enough 16U teams to enroll so that we can make at least one division).

Registration will remain open until March 1, 2022. We would like to be able to start doing preliminary tiering and division placement by the last week of February 2022, with the goal of having tiering and division placement completed by March 7, 2022. The per team fee remains unchanged this coming year, and is $125 per team. Please spread the word to those you know who may be interested in playing in the league this year, as we would like to get as many teams involved as possible.

PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS VERY CAREFULLY REGARDING REGISTRATION PROCEDURES.

This year we are going to do NSFPL registration through Team Snap, and we are going to collect all league fees electronically. You may register using this link (https://go.teamsnap.com/forms/291481), or by accessing the registration link via the NSFPL website (nsfpl.org), or via the Trevians Fastpitch website (trevians.org).

In order to register, you will need to create a Team Snap account, which simply requires an email address and a password (which you will create). Once you have accessed the Team Snap registration form, you will need to enter information on the form as follows (the form is set up to register a player so we are adapting the information fields):

First Name: Enter the ORGANIZATION NAME (e.g. Trevians)

Last Name: Enter the specific team name (e.g. 14U Blue)

Birthdate: Enter the date of registration.

REQUESTED COMPETITIVE LEVEL: Enter 1, 2 or 3, with 1 being highest. Please provide a fair and appropriate choice for your team. We discourage teams from playing down.

PARENT 1: Enter information for the primary team contact (name, mobile phone number and email)

PARENT 2: Enter the head coach information contact information if different from primary team contact (name, mobile phone number and email)

If you are registering multiple teams with the same contact information for all teams, simply choose “Add Participant” to add another team during a single registration process. If you want to register multiple teams with different contact information for each team, then you should register them one at a time, and go through the full process for each one.

At the end of the registration process you will be prompted to pay. You can pay either with a credit card, or by ACH with a bank routing number and bank account number.

PLEASE NOTE: your registration will not be considered completed until payment is received.

Over the next few months, you can follow along on the NSFPL website, nsfpl.org, to see which teams in your area have signed up to play this coming season, as we will update the list every few weeks.

Last but not least, please mark your calendars for Sunday March 13, 2022. We will have age-level meetings that day (at times to be determined later) for about 40 minutes per age level, to review rules, procedures and answer other questions. We used the Zoom platform last year and it worked well, and we expect to do it that same way again in 2022.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at commissioner@nsfpl.org.

Thank you,
Dana Dolinko
2022 NSFPL Commissioner
